Sunrisers Eliminated In Nail-Biting Match
Category: Sports News

Though Sunrisers Hyderabad has posted only 161 runs on the board in their Eliminator match with Delhi Capitals, many thought that the pitch will turn slow to help their bowlers. And the match went up to the situation where DC required 2 runs in 2 balls, but SRH failed to capitalise on that.

Despite the fact that super hitters David Warner and Johnny Bairstow are absent from the team, the likes of Martin Guptill, Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson took the score to 161 despite losing wickets at regular intervals. But Delhi batsmen, Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw played terrific knocks, thereby giving an easy path for the next batsmen. But SRH bowlers Khaleel and Rasheed often troubled them, thereby giving a hope till the last ball that Hyderabad team might win the Eliminator 1.

And when 2 runs are required in 2 balls, Keema Paul has converted a Khaleel delivery to a four, giving DC a terrific victory. Now Delhi Capitals will play Chennai Superkings in Eliminator 2 and the winner from this match will play Mumbai Indians in the final.
