As the much awaited No-Confidence Motion has finally taken up in the house, it saw several fireworks from the Opposition leaders including Galla Jayadev, Rahul Gandhi who came very well-prepared. Responding on the issue of Andhra Pradesh and the gross injustice meted out to the new state, Rahul said the state has become victim. Indicating that AP is victim of "Modi", Rahul indirectly said the state became victim due to BJP's political weapon called Jumla (Gimmick). Rahul hinted that Modi is a man of 'gimmick' and full of rhetoric but no actions.
"You are a victim of the 21st century political weapon. The political weapon is the 'Jumla strike'. There are many many more victims like you," Rahul said, adding that the farmers, the youth, the Dalits, tribals and women are also the victims of this weapon of the government.
Throughout his speech, Rahul Gandhi has even impressed even his harsh critics. Rahul seemed a lot more prepared today than ever before. Especially his phrase, "Chaukidaar nahin hai, bhaagidaar hai" is a very sharp, direct attack on Narendra Modi. Looks like, Rahul is picking up fast.
