Djokovic Beats Federer To Win Fifth Wimbledon Title

Number one seed, Novak Djokovic has claimed his fifth Wimbledon title defeating Swiss master Roger Federer in the finals. With 7-6, 1-6, 7-6, 4-6, 13-12 (7-3) Djokovic emerged as the winner.

The Serbian star won the first and three sets in tie-breaker with 7-6, 7-6 scores while Federer claimed the second and fourth sets with 6-1, 6-4 sets. The final and decider set went for intense battle between Djokovic and Federer.

After scoring 12 points each, the umpire has called for a tie-breaker. The last set lasted nearly two hours. This final is also the longest one in the Wimbledon's history.

Federer lost a golden opportunity in the sixteenth game of the final set as he had two championship points. But Djokovic did not let Federer win by saving the two points.

With this win Djokovic has won all three Wimbledon finals against Federer which is a unique feat.
